Guidelines
Effective: September 14, 2026
The rules for posting and using games on Arcabe, and how problems are handled. They apply together with the Terms of Service. This English version is provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
1. Games You Can Post
- Games you made yourself or have the right to post
- Games made with AI tools. You also need the right to use the images, music and code in them.
- Games that can be played in a browser or downloaded and run
2. What Games Must Not Include
Arcabe accepts non-commercial games only. In Korea, games must be rated before they are made public, but non-commercial games made by individuals are exempt. A game with any means of earning revenue loses this exemption.
- In-game payments or paid items
- Advertisements
- Donation or tip buttons and links (Ko-fi, Patreon, Buy Me a Coffee, etc.)
- Crowdfunding links
Games listed by store URL follow that store's policies and rating standards.
3. Content You Cannot Post
- Things that are not games: spam, ads, pure promotion, empty pages
- Things that infringe others' rights: copyright or trademark infringement, someone else's game or assets posted as your own
- Things unsuitable for minors: adult content, excessive violence, hate speech, simulated gambling
- Things that deceive users: fake login screens, payment prompts, screens that send users to malicious sites
- Harmful code: malicious scripts, unauthorized cryptocurrency mining, code that secretly collects personal information
- Impersonation of another person or organization
4. Reports and Handling
1. Anyone can report a game with the report button on its page. Reporting requires sign-in, and each game can be reported once per person.
2. The Operator reviews reports and hides games that violate these Guidelines. Hidden games are removed from lists and search, and their page only shows that the game was taken down.
3. When a game is hidden, the member who posted it is notified at their Google account email. To object, write to duswl4353@naver.com.
4. For repeated or serious violations, use is suspended or the account is terminated.
5. Infringement Notices (Copyright and Other Rights)
Rights holders can request removal of Content that uses their games, images, music or other works without permission. You can send a request by email even without an Arcabe account.
Recipient: Yeonji Yu, duswl4353@naver.com
Include in your request:
- Your name and contact information
- The URL of the game in question
- The right that was infringed and material showing you hold it (link to the original, registration proof, etc.)
- What you are requesting (for example, removal)
How requests are handled:
- On receiving a request, the game is promptly hidden and both the requester and the member who posted it are notified.
- The member may request reinstatement by sending material showing they have the right to post it.
- If the reinstatement request is valid, the requester is told the reinstatement date and the game is made public again.
- Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' rights are terminated.
6. Privacy and Defamation
If Content or a comment invades privacy or defames someone, you can request deletion at duswl4353@naver.com. The Operator deletes it after review, or temporarily hides it for up to 30 days if a decision is difficult.
