Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Arcabe (the "Service"), operated by Yeonji Yu (the "Operator"), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and members.

Article 2 (Definitions)

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

1. The Operator posts these Terms at the bottom of the Service.

2. The Guidelines describe these Terms in detail and apply together with them.

3. The Operator may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Amendments are announced on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before if they are unfavorable to members.

4. A member who does not agree to amended Terms may delete their account.

Article 4 (Membership and Accounts)

1. Only people aged 14 or older may become members.

2. The agreement is formed when a person signed in with a Google account agrees to these Terms.

3. The Operator may delete an account if it finds that the member is under 14 or used someone else's account.

4. Members manage their own Google accounts and must not let others use them.

Article 5 (Service and Changes)

1. The Service provides uploading games, playing games, comments, likes and reports free of charge.

2. The Operator may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons. Significant changes are announced in advance, or afterwards if urgent circumstances prevent advance notice.

Article 6 (Non-commercial Games)

1. The Service is a place to share games made by individuals for non-commercial purposes. This is a condition for sharing games that have not received a rating under the Korean Game Industry Promotion Act.

2. Games posted by members must not include:

3. Games with sexual, violent or gambling-like content unsuitable for minors must not be posted.

4. If the Operator runs a revenue program for rated games, its conditions will be set out in separate terms.

Article 7 (Rights and Responsibility for Content)

1. Copyright and other rights in Content, and responsibility for it, belong to the member who posted it.

2. Members warrant that they have the right to post their Content and that it does not infringe others' copyright, trademarks, portrait rights or other rights, or violate any law. This also applies to games made with AI tools.

3. The Operator has no obligation to review Content before it is posted.

4. If a third party raises a claim or lawsuit against the Operator because of Content, the member who posted it must resolve it at their own responsibility and cost and compensate the Operator's losses, except to the extent caused by the Operator's intent or negligence.

Article 8 (License to Content)

1. Members grant the Operator a free, non-exclusive right to store, copy, transmit and display their Content to operate and introduce the Service, including showing titles, descriptions and thumbnails in search results and link previews.

2. This license ends when the member takes the Content down. Link previews and search results that have already spread may take time to disappear.

3. If a member chooses to keep their Content when deleting their account, the license continues while the Content remains on the Service.

4. The Operator does not take ownership of any Content.

Article 9 (Prohibited Conduct)

Members must not:

Article 10 (Hiding Content and Restricting Use)

1. The Operator may hide Content that violates the law, these Terms or the Guidelines without prior notice, and will notify the member who posted it.

2. A member who disagrees may object by writing to duswl4353@naver.com.

3. For repeated or serious violations, the Operator may suspend use or terminate the agreement. The agreement of a member who repeatedly infringes others' rights will be terminated.

Article 11 (Infringement Notices)

1. Anyone whose rights are infringed by Content may request removal using the report button on the game page or by writing to duswl4353@naver.com.

2. On receiving a request, the Operator promptly hides the Content and notifies both the member who posted it and the requester.

3. The member may request reinstatement by showing they have the right to post it. If the explanation is valid, the Operator notifies the requester of the reinstatement date and then reinstates the Content.

4. Requests based on invasion of privacy or defamation are handled under the Korean Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, by deletion or by temporarily hiding the Content for up to 30 days.

5. The Guidelines describe how to report and how reports are handled.

Article 12 (Account Deletion)

1. Members may delete their account at any time in profile settings.

2. Deleting an account removes the account, profile, comments, likes and recently viewed games.

3. When deleting their account, members choose whether to keep or delete their posted games. Kept games show "Deleted user" as the creator; deleted games are removed together with their files.

4. Kept games are no longer linked to the deleted account, so the member cannot edit or take them down. To request deletion, write to duswl4353@naver.com; the Operator will act once it can confirm the requester posted the game.

Article 13 (Limitation of Liability)

1. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for:
